May Satguru Ji bless the mission...

Former Pro VC Guru Nanak Dev Univarsity and Vice Chairman of Panjab School Education Board, Panjab and an eminent educationist of Panjab, Dr.Inderpal Singh says about the Sarab Rog Ka Aukhad Nam Mission:
The message given by selected Sabads by Sarab Rog Ka Aukhad Nam Mission is absolutely wonderful and straightforward. The essential message of Guru is contained in the booklet.
I must also comment on recent publications in the form of booklets written by Dr.Balwant Singh Ji highlighting certain issues in respect of Sikh religion and history which need immediate attention of Sikh intelligentsia for proper introspection.
May satguru ji bless the mission to continue the great service of humanity through the medium of Gurbani.

  An Appeal to Sikh Intelligentsia

I must inform you that the need of Shud Ucharan of Gurbaani had been approved by thousands of viewers of our live telecast of the proceedings of healing camp in which we had very forcefully observed and  advocated the method of Shud Ucharan.

And over and above we had placed before Sangat the resolution of Shud Ucharan of Gurbaani and we  had  organized the  open discussion. None in the sangat felt the need of opposing it and the resolution was passed unanimously for the followers of this mission. And it was accepted as’ Gurmata’,-  it is the order of Sangat approved by Guru- so it became mandatory for all of us to follow it.

And we had circulated the booklets which contained need of Shud Ucharan to Holy Akal Takhat Sahib and it was seemingly approved by  highest body of the Sikhs, as so far,  we did not get any order against it.

Luckily for us with great help from our revered friends at Sikhnet.com, the site of the mission had been visited by millions of people after we had projected the need of Shud Ucharan in our article, ‘How to get the benefit of Super power of Gurbaani’ at the  web site. We had received many letters for getting the help in Shud Ucharan. And in more than 10 years of its insertion, no body has rejected or shown displeasure to it. It certainly implies the approval of the Sikh community at large.

There is an ill informed body of Sikhs who had been advocating the need to use bindees and ignore the pronunciation of siharis and aunkads. They had been preaching and educating the same to thousands of students across India, this microscopic number of people had written against us in their publications and had openly opposed us. We have nothing against them, everybody has the right to form the opinion and project it.

In the light of these observations, the most humbly, I wish to project, the following few points before our intelligentsia so as to act in a unified and purposeful manner to educate the general masses and our preachers the need of Shud Ucharan  of Gurbaani.

1, To persuade  the Sikh Missionary Colleges, and the Sikh institutions to follow the dictates of Gurbaani and follow Shud Ucharan.

2, To organize lectures or seminars for this cause..

3, To popularize the need, the competition of kids be organized

4, The measures to promote the need of writing the Gurbaani in correct form should be taken.

To day our state of mind is pathetic and we don’t feel the love of Gurbaani shud Ucharan at all. We find the words of Gurbaani wrongly written at main entrances to Gurdwaras. And we have the scant regard for the body of Guru ie Gurbaani.

 Yours humble servant,

 Dr Balwant Singh

How do I place myself in comparison  to Swami Ram Dev in curing the patients

This was the question  raised by some of the listeners on radio talk at 106 East FM radio, Nairobi. And I must admit here, I did not want to answer this question without some proof with  my assertions. Now, after having had two very successful healing camps over there, now all the persons who had attended the camp  would find the answer to this question.  Those who attended, comprised a small section of people in comparison to the millions of listeners, so that is the reason to answer that question now for the benefit of the rest of the people

There is world of difference between the cures with the healing camps and with Swami Ram Dev. In healing camps, the cures are affected through prayers and are done by God Himself, no medicine or any other physical measure is advised to any one. The results are immediate at the spot, there  were at least 10 persons whose blood sugar became normal in one hour of prayers. Any body even without physical fitness and with inability to breath properly were relieved on the spot. The child who cannot understand anything had been cured in one hour. There were so many patients, who suffered from osteoarthritis of the knees were relieved. This is just a fantasy, no body can believe that. But hundreds of patients who had benefited can stand as the witnesses. How can you compare this healing with any one, this is beyond
imagination.
I have traveled through the width and breadth of the world, I did not come across such cures anywhere.  The larger communities have millions of dollars at their command  and they could have spread the message very quickly to others.

Dr Balwant Singh, Capt, AMC
General Secretary,

The long hair on the head and the body. The defenders of human beings, irrevocable scientific reasons. Do deserve proper respect!

If you think that the hair are dispensable, disposable and unnecessary appendages of the human body, then you are sadly mistaken. The human hair determines vitality, virility, strength and immunity of the person concerned. The loss of hair denotes aging, decreased strength and impoverished immune system. The persons undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other immunosuppressant therapy always have loss of hair. These drugs impair fast growing cells of reproduction, vascular and bone marrow.

The Sikhs are the only one in the world, who are required to keep uncut body hair. It is a form of commitment and allegiance to the faith. The moment you lose this essential requirement, you cease to be a Sikh. The Sikhs had sacrificed their lives, when asked to lose the hair or the life; they preferred the hair than living without hair. This is inseparable part of a Sikh’s body. In case of some urgent life saving emergency situations where hair are required to be cut, mostly accidents or surgery then these are cut and the Sikh has to present himself before the board of 5 beloved Sikhs and explain why he has allowed this thing to happen to him. The Sikh is always forgiven and asked to undergo some kind of penance. I think this should be counted as a blessing by all the true Sikhs, if it was not forbidden then no body would have been there on this earth with hair as Sikhs do.

Why hair at all? The defenders!

The human body is perfect, designed and preplanned for the functions, the parts had to undertake later on. The woman’s body has less hair and she is designed to rear the baby and at least for 9 months and during that time she cannot perform so many outdoor functions which a man has to do all the days in the year. And, of course, this is the woman who has to deliver the milk as an essential ingredient which a man though equally related cannot help. And the woman must remain with the child in growing tender years. This explains the less hair on the body. So the woman by virtue of her duty is less exposed to outside hostile environment and so less protection is needed by lesser growth of hair.

See the beauty of nature, the palmer and plantar side of the hands and feet have no hair; the sensory receptors for heat are less sensitive or are less in number on these surfaces. The skin is thick on these places as one has to work with hard, rough surfaces and uncomfortable temperatures.

Why hair on the eyebrows, eyelashes, nose and ear don’t keep growing and longer and longer? Of course, the hair keep growing in all these places but rate of growth is very slow.

If one has to shave hair of eyebrows for surgery, you can always find the slow growth. If there were no eyelashes then eyes would have been more vulnerable to injury by the suspended particles in the air which are harmful. The eyes keep blinking after every few seconds and eye lashes provide vision and protection from foreign bodies during partial closure of the eyes. The new born child blinks his eyes less often, so eye blinking is related to the brain development. Can you do without eyelashes! This small bunch of hair performs vital functions for your vision. Why don’t we shave these eyelashes also?

The science has not understood the total human physiology as yet. Have we promoted or made stem cells? These cells were there from the very inception of first human being on earth, it is only now we could find the already existing potential of these cells

.On the other hand, one has to shave the face daily and get their hair cut of the head at least once a week. It does imply that there is more requirement of hair in these areas. So God has very kindly helped the hair to keep growing in these places in spite of the fact that the man does not understand the importance of the hair which are of immense value in keeping him healthy. God is our father that is why He does it as frequently as the man indulges in unnatural practices.

Similarly, the longer hair in armpits and groins have some important functions. The upper layers of the skin are being constantly replaced by the new skin from underneath. The armpits and the groins are not exposed to the clothes or the environment. The shed off skin gets collected in these areas. These areas are not well ventilated, so skin moisture is added along with the proteins of shed off skin. And this combination along with more heat in these areas form the best play ground for the fungi and bacteria to grow and multiply. The hair work as cleansing agents or natural scavengers. The collections of dead skin and secretions are removed by the hair and are carried on the shaft of the hair away from the skin. This way, the hair help in keeping the skin well protected. As a physician, I know we get many cases of fungus infection and repeated boils in these areas especially in hot and humid weather. If hair are removed, then certainly we are killing our friends for the sake of so called beauty.

The hair on our entire body are sensitive to cold, heat and emotions. In case of fear, the hair stand erect and may be helping the body to cope with the threatening situations. In cold weather the peripheral circulation supplying blood to skin is reduced and it helps in conserving body heat. And the hair on the surface of the skin get erected to perform some unknown functions and closing skin pores to reduce loss of heat. Similarly, in hot weather the erector muscle of the hair in skin are relaxed and help the body in producing less heat and there by promote the heat loss through open skin pores by perspiration.

The hair around external genitalia perform very vital function in cooling or heating the heat sensitive genitalia. If testes don’t descend to the scrotum then excessive heat of inside the body destroys the germinal cells.

So, please don’t kill your defenders and be wise. God has not done anything in vain. Let us respect the nature and should not do anything against it.

Some other benefits of long hair

The brain is required by all of us; so far the science did not find any alternative to take up its functions if needed. Unfortunately, the brain cannot be transplanted from any body else. The brain of our immediate ancestor, the monkey could be made available for experiments that should make us to jump all the inhibitions.

The wise people had made arrangements to protect the head, in case of car accidents by giving us air bags in the steering wheel, or using helmets for driving two wheelers. It is really praiseworthy.

The pedestrians do need some protection also against accidents, no body has thought of any measure. You have to protect your brain in extremes of weather conditions in Siberia, Polar Regions and hot places like Dubai.

The most devastating effects of harmful radiations from the sun also need some urgent protection. It has become all the more important and relevant, owing to increasingly decreasing cover of ozone layer in the atmosphere. As we know there is big hole in the ozone layer and harmful ultraviolet radiations come un obstructed to the earth.

The hair on the head caters to all the above mentioned needs for us. God had given us the final and beautiful protection to the brain by giving us long hair on our heads and faces also. The hair on the face does protect some important receptors in the neck also. It makes the man the most handsome creature on the earth. The hair is God’s gift for us. It protects us against weather conditions by keeping warm in winter and cool in summer. The harmful radiations are taken care of and in addition it protects us against any accidents.

Do we need to cut, the useful part of our body and which is found so essential for our lives? The modern man had ignored this vital aspect. In India, all our forefathers used to have the long hair on their heads and those people who had attained perfection had long hair on their heads, like Christ, Mohammed, Ram, Bhudha and Krishan. The hair are connected with salvation and perfection in some unknown ways.

Sikhism is the most modern religion; Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth master of Sikhs in 1699 AD had very kindly made it mandatory to have long hair on our heads and not to murder the hair on our body in any way. It is a sin to cut hair, if a Sikh cuts hair he is forsaken from the faith. It is not important that there are many so called Sikhs who do not keep hair. It is their sweet will and no body should mind that. But surely, they are not Sikhs. We remember our heroes who lived the life of the perfect Sikhs and sacrificed everything. The Sikhs had kept long hair in spite of severe punishment, like removing the scalp from head along with long hair. The Sikhs were given the option to remove the Sikh symbols and the hair, these heroes preferred death than giving up the hair and Sikh identity. The true Sikhs would prefer death than giving up the hair.

How to care for the hair?

If you agree with me that the hair are important gift given to the entire mankind without any distinction of the area, religion or group by our God father, then we should decide as how to respect our defenders and friends.

Guru Gobind Singh had thought of this need, and delineated the procedure for his followers or for that reason any body who wants to support long hair on the head and the body. The hair need to be kept tidy and should be combed daily and keep the hair rolled up as a knot on the head. And to keep the hair clean and healthy, Sikhs had been advised to tie a head gear or a turban over the head daily.

The head gear is required by all the people in extremes of weather. But if you wear turban all the time on the head, then there is great protection to the brain in case of accidents or by direct hit by any flying object or a stick or a sharp cutting object. The momentum gets decreased when the 6 to 7 layers of cloth of the turban bears the brunt of the impact and the turban gets dismantled and the direction of the hitting object gets changed. And certainly, it does give a great protection not only to the most vital brain but saves the life also.

Now days there is noise pollution by the heavy vehicles on the roads and sound of DJ’s in social gatherings and dance parties, the turban protects the brain and the ears against very loud sounds which go much higher than the safe limit of 60 decibels.

The turban gives added protection to the brain against harmful radiations from the sun.

The extreme cold weather and chilly winds cannot do anything to the wearer of the turban. Luckily, I had lived three winters in south east of Canada and had faced the minimum temperature of - 25 degree C and strong chilly winds. I used to walk for one hour daily under these weather conditions. No time, I felt insecure and I used to enjoy the weather. The only problem was the black ice for which I learnt the trick of walking on this sort of surface. I had devised to walk on toes and not to put the heel first on the ice. By putting the toe first, the centre of gravity shifts to the middle of the body and the person is more secure. If some body is walking with heels first then the centre of gravity is behind the person and the heel slips. If you happen to view the foot prints of those who had slipped, you would find the heels had dragged for some distance before the person fell on the ground.
How does the turban protects us from chilly winds and snow storms? One can observe snow storms and chilly winds would hit from the front, sides or from the back depending upon direction of your walk in relation to the wind. The snow coat had head part or hood also but in comparison to the turban it stands no where. The turban has 6 to 7 layers of cloth all around your head; the way it insulates is superb. No need of putting the hood on the turban, one is very comfortable. Once you come back to your home, you would find the snow had got deposited on the moustaches and the beard.

If you are exposed to this type of weather, then the sensitive parts of the body are tip of the nose, pinna and lobule of the ear. These parts get blue and are frozen. The turban protects the ear and the hair on face blocks the chilly winds to enter the nose straightway and certainly the hair may be helping in warming the outside air entering the nose through hot exhaled air.

The burning hot temperatures can cause sun burns on exposed skin and heat stroke and heat exhaustion. The brain regulates the temperature of the body. The turban acts as a screen to the direct effect of sun rays. It keeps the brain cool, by absorbing the sweat on the head on one hand and insulates the head from external temperature. The head is kept cool in spite of the fact that the outside temperature is nearly scolding hot. How many people can walk bare headed in extreme hot weather? Not many and all have to cover their heads by some sort of cap or hat. The cap or hat can fall down in case you wish to work outside in hot weather. Everybody cannot sit in air conditioned room and so many had to work outside. So turban is the answer for them.

The turban has some aesthetic value. The person looks taller and handsome. The choice of colours is vast and that can match your casual wear of shirts or tie. One looks a like a king. Perhaps all the dignitaries in the past used to wear different head gears. Believe me, once you tie a turban on the head you feel energized and more active, than sitting without it during holidays.

The other persons who are not Sikhs would find I am promoting Sikhism, but I have tried to put the facts before everyone, if it helps Sikhism I feel happy and proud. I think the Sikhs who have lost their identity for the sake of some gains it is high time they should feel sorry for that. A Sikh is an ideal human being. The Sikhs don’t smoke, don’t keep extra marital contacts and are well armed to keep the oppressed, protected and are confident of their inheritance. The Sikh has to respect all religions and would keep on following his faith strictly. The Sikh has malice for none and love for all. The Sikhs pray for the betterment of the total humanity including their opponents.

Dr Balwant Singh

The Doctors need a better realistic approach for the health of the patients.

Dr. Balwant Singh, MBBS, Ex. Capt. AMC

Does it mean doctors don’t care much for the patients? The answer is NO. What I sincerely feel there is something lacking in our set up. The newer graduates or post graduates are not given proper environment to have a scientific approach. The main concern of the doctors in some of the teaching hospitals is not to fail or take any chance with minimum medicines. I don’t know whether it is money which comes in forefront than the care of the patients. There is something which interferes in healthy growth of the young impressionable doctors who are eager to learn any thing that comes their way.

I feel proud of my teachers in Govt. Medical College , Amritsar , they were friends of poor people and would devote proper attention to every one irrespective of the financial status of the people. Again I feel happy to have served in big hospitals of Army, i.e. Command Hospital [WC] Chandi Mandir and Military Hospital Ambala Cantt. What is remarkable about these hospitals is that the treatment is free and the best treatment is supposed to be given even if it involved the air evacuation to bigger hospitals in emergencies. I had the opportunity to learn from these learned doctors who had scientific bent of mind. We used to get blood reports repeated everyday and monitor the progress of the disease. This scientific approach is awfully lacking in modern doctors.

The medical profession is undoubtedly noble with a lot of power given to the doctors. Everybody submits his body and resources at the door of the doctors. The patients do not understand a thing about the injections or medicines which can be dangerous sometime. The ignorance is bliss in India . And no body questions the treatment given to them. That is the main reason the doctors are very powerful in India . What ever they say is the final word as is given by orders of God.

The absolute powers are enjoyed by medical practitioners so certainly they need to be more judicious in their approach to the patients. The type of education given to the general public does not emphasize the value of knowledge of body functions and possible effects of medicines on body. There is no urge to know to about this aspect even in well educated people. The general public prefers the doctors who can give a heavier pack of medicines which may not be helpful at all rather impair and retard the recovery of the patients. There is premium in giving maximum number of drugs and that too which are costly.  I don’t think the doctors keep the premium aspect in mind while prescribing the medicines. I would say the lack of confidence in the right diagnosis, what is written in the books and what is the latest development in respect of medicines and diseases. The friends of mine are so busy that they hardly feel the necessity of providing the latest and the best to the patients.

First of all I wish to tender an apology from so many better doctors than me who may feel hurt by my descriptions of some of the black sheep in our profession. My dear friends, I sometime feel if somebody comes back living from the clutches of doctors, it is because God saved him and was lucky.

I would like to share some of the glaring lapses which came to my

knowledge.

  1. Nimesulide is being prescribed by pediatricians freely in younger age groups. Many other doctors are also prescribing the same medicine with impunity. It is banned in all advanced countries and some other countries also.

  2. When the blood examination shows normal picture, the specialists treat the infections with the antibiotics meant to be used for resistant bacterial infections. And most of the time the condition does not warrant an emergency. There is indiscriminate use of antibiotics and it is criminal. Methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus, [MRSA] is a biggest challenge for the medical professionals all over the world. And we are to be blamed for all this mess. Who is going to question my friends for this criminal behaviour?

  3. There is no clinical judgment and the lab reports determine the line of treatment. I have seen at least three cases being treated for enteric fever for more than a year just on the basis of Widal test and the blood culture was negative all the time. On examination the abdomen showed no abnormality, spleen, liver and intestines on palpation did not reveal any tenderness or enlargement. The only symptom was fever.  I had stopped all the medicines  and the patients completely recovered quickly.

  4. There was a case in ICCU at one of the teaching hospitals.  She was diabetic, controlled by oral drugs and had developed breathlessness suddenly. After her treatment in ICCU for about 20 days, she was sent home with oxygen cylinder and anti TB drugs.  The chest x rays done in the same hospital showed lung fields clear. Just after 8 days in the hospital, the repeat x-ray showed pleural effusion and was labeled as pulmonary TB. The very fact she was normal about 8 days earlier and she must have acquired fulminating pulmonary TB in the hospital. I could not believe the diagnosis. I requested the relations to have another opinion of one of the most brilliant doctors here. He agreed with me and stopped the anti TB drugs and the patient was taken off oxygen and she recovered rapidly.

  5. A patient was bed ridden and had been investigated and was getting regular treatment from hospital. The lab reports defied the real diagnosis and attending physician had depended upon lab reports only. I told the attendants the lab report is certainly wrong and I wish to have different line of treatment. The changed treatment made the patient much better in the same evening.  It was a case of bad clinical judgment.

  6. God knows if I am illustrating the real cases with any intention of highlighting my own capability. About 32 years earlier, a surgeon told relations of unconscious man of 60 years that the patient cannot be saved and he be allowed the natural death. With that stress in mind, the relatives called the army doctor as I was known that time. On examination I found his sensory system was impaired, everything else was in order and why he be allowed to die like that. I advised them to have the opinion of the local Christian Medical College doctors and at least have the x –ray skull done. The doctors found subdural heamtoma which was drained and the person came back to normal health within no time and he lived for more than 7 years thereafter.

  7. Another very interesting case of Nephritis in a young girl of 5 years. I did not do any examination. The parents of the girl were known to me when I had gone to meet them they asked me to give some medicine for her mildly swollen face and she did not have any other complaint. They thought that was a case of some insect bite. I just looked at her face and I found uniform swellings in both of her eye lids. I had asked the parents to get the urine for routine examination done. The simple urine test had indicated +4 albumin and it was a case for emergency admission. The girl was saved.

  8. I had so many case where in other reputed specialists were involved and I had to say a different thing than them, and my observations were based on the clinical judgment only. A poor man had x-ray done which showed unilateral pleural effusion. Blood tests were normal. He was prescribed very strong antibiotics which he was unable to afford and without any need. He did not cough and had no fever or weight loss. I advised him to stop all medicines and to take some medicine for body ache only.  I was surprised to find on repeat x-ray examination his chest was clear and was clinically fit.

  9. Similarly a child with pneumonitis had all the tests including mantoux test done which were normal. He had mild fever and mild cough.  I did not give any medicine and repeat chest x-ray showed completely normal lung fields after 10 days.

  10. A middle aged lady with painful swelling of thyroid had consulted some medical specialist and he had prescribed anti thyroid medicines to control the hyperthyroidism. The lady did not have any symptom suggestive of hyper thyroidism and enzyme levels were normal. Thiouracil could have damaged the healthy thyroid tissue. I did not agree with the diagnosis. Then an endocrinologist had very clearly given his verdict in favor of  my presumption of that disease being viral thyroidits with self limiting course.

  11. A 50 year old man walked to me clinic with mild pain abdomen and he demanded some thing to control his pain. When I examined his abdomen I found that he was a case of acute abdomen and peritonitis. I warned him not to go any where and he should immediately report to the surgical hospital. My diagnosis was correct and he was saved and he had to stay in hospital for over a month.

  12. Similarly a lady had moderately severe pain on her left side of abdomen, had her treatment from a hospital and then she was shown to me. In her case an appendicular lump was detected on right side. She made an uneventful recovery after surgery.

  13.  This happened in my service in Army during 1971 Indo Pak war and that too at an operational area where we were engaged with enemy troops. There a brigade commander had suffered from episodic pain abdomen for more than 23 years which would settle with some pain killer injections. I was called in to give pain killer injection at night. On examination I found some surgical problem which needed proper investigation and treatment. I refused to give the injection rather suggested him to get ready to go to the Military Hospital . The board of doctors in MH had  decided to open up the abdomen and they found the carcinoid changes in chronic appendicitis. The brigadier was very happy and awarded me the job of a senior medical officer, which was a great jump for me out of turn elevation for a junior officer like me.

For any examination 5 cardinal parts are ignored.1. Anatomical land marks. 2. Inspection. 3. Palpation. 4. Percussion. 5. Auscultation.

These are of immense value and modern diagnostic techniques cannot replace the significance of these basics.

  14.  I had diagnosed a lady of lung disease by auscultation and the x- rays just confirmed the diagnosis. The same lady was under the care of a teaching hospital for a prolonged fever for over two months. She had NHL affecting the one lobe of lung. In that case the simple percussion and auscultation would have clinched the diagnosis.

  15. Similarly a gentleman suffered for over a month from fever.  He was again treated with heavy doses of antibiotics and same time the diagnosis was presumed to be viral fever. The simple examination of abdomen revealed appendicular lump. It came out to be a necrotic appendix on opening up the abdomen.

The doctors should have faith in super powers of God, and in India , the most of the doctors lack that faith. The Christians are better disposed off in this respect. I am finding it difficult to carry doctors with me in my mission to cure all diseases with prayers to Sri Guru Granth Sahib without any medicine or Yoga or other systems of medicine. I am extremely successful in this mission. You are requested to visit our website, www.gurunanakhealing.com  and you can get the cases of impeccable evidence of cures.

I wish to point out  the serious repercussions of this deficiency in doctors. We had a young male with multiple myeloma in an advanced stage. His vertebrae were destroyed in dorsal and  lumbar region. He had to wear a jacket like band around his chest to support him in erect posture. His kidneys were going into failure and his serum creatinine and serum calcium were rising in spite of the regular chemotherapy cycles that he was taking. He was brought to the healing camp at that stage. Surprisingly he felt no pain and he could do without chest strappings, his biochemical markers were more revealing. His serum calcium and creatinine came back within range. I implored to stop the cycles of chemotherapy for sometime and get these biomarkers repeated from time to time. But oncologists in the hospital were blinded by their incompetent cure method. The patient was advised against the prayer sessions. I leave on to the senior doctors in my profession to justify their action. Did prayer do any harm to any one? If such magical relief was seen with prayers then where was the harm to have a fair trial with prayers for some more time in future.

We have many cases of cancers who stood cured.  The latest had not been projected in the healed patients in our website. She had ductal carcinoma breast with extensive spread in liver. Rather she presented with secondaries  in liver with no symptom of breast cancer. She is regularly attending the healing sessions. The doctors believe it is the chemotherapy which had affected cure. I would request  to compare all those cases with similar history. I am sure there cannot be any match for this cure. She is maintaining normal health for the last  2 years and her health is improving.

Celiac disease: There is no cure for this debilitating disease all over the world. We have more than 24 cured cases in the last 4 years. Any body who is cured if he happens to meet the concerned specialist he would advise not to take wheat any more and very strongly recommend that if wheat is taken there would be serious problems for them. And they don’t have the evidence to say so. All these patients are taking gluten containing food products, their health, weight, Hb level and height had improved. In addition their Anti Ttg level had become normal in spite of ingesting wheat products.

Do you justify their prejudice against the cured patients and the therapy? I have to warn the patients not to go to these doctors and they can ruin their life with wrong advice.

Dear friends! Have the mind open to any innovation which is based on scientific data; no medicine being given and even the patients could continue their treatment which may have given them relief; and totally free of cost for every one. Is it a crime to do such a job? We need your support for this noble venture.

REPORTS OF AUSTRALIA AND THAILAND HEALING CAMPS

As reported by S. Ranjit Singh Chadha and S. Gurmeet Singh- By a reporter

These camps helped in giving, a powerful and effective message of healing of all diseases through Gurbani. And most of the people did not know about it. The mission felt satisfied and happy over the success. The people were spell bound by listening to the stories of healed patients through these camps in the shortest possible time. And, of course, they had not seen this before and could not imagine the magical relief to so many patients. All of them confessed relief but were not willing to give in writing the reports. So far we are concerned it is all right for us but disclosing the stories helps in spreading the message across the world and indirectly helping millions of people in the world. The extent of success was confirmed to others when the large of numbers callers from Australia, Thailand and Malaysia wanted to know more about the mission. The visiting team consisted of S. Ranjit Singh Chadha- one of the trustees and a retired bank officer; S. Gurmeet Singh, an exceptional hymn singer, self employed business man; Mrs. Satnam Kaur Chadha, a retired teacher and the preacher of the mission and S. Prabhsimran Singh, the youngest of all, a tabla { drum} player who had devoted his life to this work.

A number of people deserve kudos and high appreciation for this wonderful selfless service. We need not mention the names to Guru Nanak, my Lord knows everything from beginning to end. Our objective is to give some information about these philanthropists, so that beneficiaries could pray for them. Number one in the list is S.Navpreet Singh Khurmi, who is solely responsible for arranging everything for the visitors including visas, stay arrangement and partial compensation for air travel. It was albeit difficult and looking impossible but his consistent efforts bore fruit. Initially the program was fixed for Perth only but the contacts with our senior member of the mission S. Shamsher Singh Bajaj and his brother S. Amarjit Singh Bajaj bore fruit to extend our visit to Melbourne. His friend helped him to arrange for the travelling of the team and fixing the detailed programs in different Gurdwaras. Our member, S. Darshan Singh Thind from Sydney who had gone from Ludhiana to visit his son came especially to help the team in Melbourne.

The well attended camps were held at Perth from July 20 to July 25, 2011.

At Perth, our performance was considered to be an excellent, as many patients got benefited. But they were reluctant to fill up our forms meant to record the diseases and symptoms of the patients. On the concluding day at Canning Vale Gurdwara, Perth, Mrs. Pritpal Kaur wife of the president of Gurdwara, S. Dev Raj Singh was overjoyed and bold enough to inform us that she was relieved of incurable body aches and headache, which she suffered for a long time and no treatment could cure her. She was unable to walk comfortably because of pains in the body. At the school, where she was working as a teacher, other teachers found in her very apparent change the way she walked comfortably and was looking cheerful. Other teachers were surprised to see the sudden relief. She told us that other teachers wanted to know as to how sudden relief came about. She narrated the details of the healing camp in the Gurdwara as a result of which many Christian teachers bought English guides and CD’s and they were thinking of doing prayers through Gurbani.

The Radio talks on, “ World Radio 95.3-6EBA” of Perth on July 20. This helped us to give the message to the listeners before the start of the camp. At radio talks in Perth the anchor raised many related and pertinent questions.

Q. “You are claiming to heal the patients through Gurbani and Swami Ram Dev Ji also claims to heal the patients through Yoga then how are you different from him? ”

A. There is no comparison between us and Swami ji. We are not concerned what he does and how de does, this aspect is very clear to those who follow him. Be it known to you what we do.

  1. We don’t charge any fees from anybody for the service and it is open to one and all.
  2. We do believe in modern medicine and wish them to get treatment if they get relieved.
  3. We don’t call patients from hospitals for the treatment but patients do come when they are refused any help from doctors. Some of them are bed ridden, on life support systems, mentally retarded, infants and children. All of them get better in shortest possible time. No body can stop death.

Can Swami ji do all this?

Q. “ How the mission is performing its activities in India and whether you have any hospital of your own for such treatments?”

A. We don’t prescribe any medicine nor do we recommend any change in treatment for the patients and do no investigations. So there was no requirement of any hospital for our successful work.

The only medicine and common for all diseases is prayers through Gurbani that helps in eliminating diseases of all kinds. We had been following this practice for the last 24 years at Ludhiana and all over the world with boundless success.

To administer this super medicine, we are holding healing sessions for all the days of the year at different places in Ludhiana. In addition, we are also holding, free for all 5 day residential, healing camps at Ludhiana for the last 24 years. We are also regularly holding such camps in all the parts of Panjab and India including Delhi and Kolkata. Similarly, we had organized three to four days camps in many other countries like, UK, USA, Canada. UAE and Kenya. We are already constructing a super hospital with the Holy Name of GURU AMAR DAS ROG NIWARAN KENDRA, NEELON KALAN, LUDHIANA, PUNJAB, (INDIA).  It will have four wings - a museum, a meditation center, a service center, and an administrative wing. These wings would surround a central atrium designated as the main prayer room. Additionally, an attached six story first class residential facility will be provided for visitors from abroad and India. Donations are needed for this work. This trust is registered with Govt of India as charitable trust so the donors get exemption from income tax.

Q. There are so many cancer cases in Bhatinda region of Panjab, why don’t you hold healing camps in that area to help them?

A. This question does not need any answer. Has any body or govt provided us the infrastructure, money to hold such camps in Bhatinda? How can we do such thing any where? But at the same time our units are working in Mukatsar , Faridkot area for the last 15 years. Any way people do come from far off places to attend the free healing camps in Ludhiana. So certainly anybody is welcome. We give information about the healing camps in newspapers so needy people do come to us.

A MEETING WITH SENIOR CITIZENS AT CANNING VALE, PERTH

On July 24th 2011 (Sunday) there was a grueling session with senior citizens who wanted to meet us exclusively. One of the members of the senior citizens council was a medical practitioner, he said that he is not convinced with our claims of healing through recitation of Gurbani and wanted us to prove our assertions. He said that modern sciences don’t believe in such things.

At that time, one young couple along with one lady managed to come into the meeting room and sat silently with senior citizens.

      All senior citizens asked them if they want to say anything. They indicated to speak something. And they were allowed to do so. The boy narrated his tale of woes as under;

He said.” I came to Australia under study VISA from India three years back and had found the education was very expensive. I could not continue my studies as I had to work very hard to pay the bills for studies. While doing labor job I developed serious problem in my legs and back. It was very difficult for me to continue the study and get costly treatment in Australia so I decided to go back to India for the treatment. I had my treatment from PGI, Chandigarh for one month and could not get relief. I was given a guide book in Punjabi of this Mission by my relatives from Patiala. After reading the book I decided to get discharged from hospital and started reciting Gurbani. I felt relieved from my incurable ailment and I started walking after 15 days. I have full faith in Gurbani healing and have come here to share my views.”

He was greeted with” Bole So Nihal, Sat Siri Akal”. All the senior citizens felt sorry for opposing us and were convinced with our claims.

At Perth: The meeting with curious, non believers who had strong doubts about our working.

These people who had desired to meet with us. They had language problem, even some ladies wanted to share their problems alone without anybody being present there. The meeting was held at Canning Vale Gurdwara on 23.08.2011 at 10.00 AM. There were 22 persons, mostly from the Malaysia, Singapore, Africa and Indonesia. We had discussed their problems behind closed doors. Their common concerns were as follows:

  • They don’t know the Gurumukhi and are not able to read and understand the language used by us at congregations.
  • They don’t want to disclose their problems before others.
  • They had hesitation to talk in front of Punjabi speaking gathering because of their different pronunciation.
  • They also have social problems of their own which they do not want to mix up with others as they have been borne and brought up in different environments.
  • They did have some complex as they were economically better off people.

The meeting went off very well and their concerns very respectfully addressed

The information available to us indicated that everybody was amazed to find some relief from their long standing problems and wanted these programs to be held regularly in future also. S. Navpreet Singh and others associated with him felt satisfied and were eager to hold more such camps in future.

Healing Camp in Melbourne from July 27th to August 01st, 2011.

This camp had to be good as people had heard about the successful camps in Perth and the people were waiting for the camp. Even we were offered to hold another camp in Sydney after this camp. But we had fixed our schedule at Bangkok before visiting this place so we could not accommodate their request. Our team worked very hard to meet all the persons anxious to meet our members. It was another memorable experience for our team. There were two radio talks on July 27th on Melbourne Radio 3ZZZ FM and July 28th, 2011 on Radio SBS Australian Official Broadcasting Radio- a Government controlled Radio. The effective message was conveyed to the public and government Radio must be carrying a lot of credibility also.

Healing Sessions at Bangkok- Thailand from August 04th to August 20th, 2011.

      S. Ranjit Singh Chadha and Mrs. Satnam Kaur Chadha were to visit their son Mr. Jatinder Singh Chadha’s family at Bangkok and stay up to 20.08.2011, so they wanted to utilize the time available for the work of the mission. Mr. Jatinder Singh Chadha had organized a healing session at Bangkok Cricket Club, there was mammoth gathering and response from Sangat of Bangkok was astonishing. Mr. Gumeet Singh also knew somebody who helped in arranging daily programs at different homes for all the dates up to 20.08.2011. The proper camp could not be held over there. The reasons are best known to the Gurdwara Committees.
